For me, teaching is one of life’s most rewarding experiences. I have studied guitar, trumpet, and music theory extensively and am now educating students on these topics in private lessons. I will currently travel to students’ homes in the Greater Boston area. My current travel radius is 75 miles from Boxford, Massachusetts. If you find yourself outside that area, you can still sign up for lessons! I offer skype/virtual lessons at a 20% lowered rate.

My teaching philosophy: My students learn in a supportive, yet challenging environment which I have customized to best suit their own individual interests. It is very important for there to be a mutual communication between student and teacher in order to best facilitate a stress-free, enjoyable lesson.
I currently offer three different classes which are open to students of any skill level. Lessons are once a week, in either 30, 45, or 60 minute blocks.
Trumpet Lessons- [30 Minutes: 25$ | 45 Minutes: 33$ | 60 Minutes: 40 Dollars]
My area of expertise in trumpet study is primarily focused in Jazz and improvisation, but I am also classically trained and can teach in a variety of different styles, depending on student interest. Students will learn songs, improve their technique and strengthen their playing muscles with helpful and personalized practice exercises.

The guitar is one of the most expressive instruments a person can play, and I make every effort in my lesson plans to help students develop an effortless, comfortable playing style. Students will learn chords, scales, riffs, and their own choice of songs.

For students who want to dedicate themselves to learning how to create music of their own, I offer this songwriting/music theory course. Lessons will center around learning song structures, chord function, and basic music theory, while simultaneously focusing on how to apply this knowledge to students’ own personal projects. Creativity is encouraged! All instruments/genres of music are welcome.
